Celebrates 25th Anniversary in 2006

to be re-imagined and will reappear in 2007

Cincinnati Folk Life was chartered 25 years ago with a mission to increase public awareness of and access to folk music, and their contribution to Cincinnati's cultural life is invaluable.

Comprising a board of directors, approximately 300 members and many volunteers, CFL produces three to four concerts per year, in addition to the Cincinnati Celtic World Festival. Founded in 1992, the festival proudly celebrated its 14th anniversary in 2005. Over the years, in its concert series and during the festival, CFL has presented folk music of many diverse cultures with performances of Cajun, Celtic, Chinese, Klezmer, Eastern European, African, Quebecois, Gypsy, Middle Eastern and other world music in addition to American Folk. olymptrade review

CFL will not present the Celtic World Festival in 2006, choosing instead to re-imagine and re-organize the popular award-winning event. CFL continues its mission to bring great music to the area and is currently working on a Spring Concert series.
